Paolo Giammarroni
I was born in Rome but my roots are in Umbria. I’ve always seen in communication the antidote to the kind of conflict which is an end in itself and to categorical command.
Graduated in Sociology, I’ve been a journalist since 1979. I’ve written about Economy, Finance, Society and Culture.
Since the early Ninties, beside my activity as an economic journalist, I’ve created a series of engagements as a consultant with a wide network of collaborators:
- devising PROJECTS of communication (promotional campaigns; communication with an audience; election campaigns; trademarks and slogans; etc.). At the moment I’m engaged with the promotion of the Funds for Supplementary Allowance in Italy;
- MANAGEMENT of Information Products (newspapers, bulletins, telecom newsletters, websites);
- POPULARIZATION (publication of scientific articles in simple form) of socio-economic issues (Health, National Insurance, Finance, Agroindustrial sector, etc.)
- RESEARCHES about public Communication, and about the consumer’s acceptance of Tools and Services, especially in the world of public Services and Utility;
- PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSES for people in the world of communication (press offices, spokespersons, public relations, trade unionists) and coordination of external and internal work groups about communication;
- Writing WORKSHOPS for public use (“functional”): reports, speeches, press releases;
Among my clients: the National Association of Italian Town and City Councils (Anci), Cisl Trade Union, firms like Uniroyal, Cassamarca Bank, Cinecittà Holding.
I’ve collaborated on issues related to communication with research centres like Censis, Codres, Di Gregorio, Formez, TOlomeo.
My love for writing has also led me towards more personal forms of expression. I cultivate my vocation as a composer and a singer-songwriter (www.giammusic.it) and also keep on working as a visual artist in projects linked to linguistic games (www.giammosaic.it).
